Exactly what TheSFMpostermaker said, Execpt it's called the Focal Distance, but the rest of what he said was spot on.

In the camera settings, choose the vocal distance, and then raise the aperture with it. The higher the aperture, the more blurry the things behind your vocal plane.

A normal camera calls it focus.
